It's 10AM now, and my dog is singing the symphony. In a very loud tone too. I haven't been doing much lately, anything productive that is. So, what should I blog about today? Hmm. Let's talk about my acne.
My skin is getting better since the last eclipse, if you know what I mean. It's so much better than how my skin was in the last couple of years. Cystic acne will never be a joke to me anymore. I used to not care so much of it, and like my mum told me... I would regret. But then again, why would I regret when it wasn't me who caused it? It was the hormones.
As a teenager, growing up includes the rise and fall in hormone levels which obviously is beyond my control. These would lead to over secretion of sebum in our skin and clogs up our pores. Hence, acne or pimples. There's a huge difference in acne and pimples okay. And its so obvious. People with pimples should STFU because it goes away like in few days or a week, but people who suffer, yes, SUFFER from acne kinda live with it for years. It never really fades, God knows why. But be patient little lambs, it would get better. Don't stop believing. Keep washing and toning your face. Don't forget to keep dabbing Benzoyl Peroxide, or better known as OXY. Or anything that contains BP. I use the Galderma line, which works like a gem.
My scars are still there, and I am trying to get rid of it. Slowly. Been experimenting on some DIY skin regime that would include ACV, Baking soda, sugar, honey, etc. I'm thinking if I should post it here and tell you (who ever is reading and bothered), how it goes.
I doubt I would do it though. I'm lazy.
I'm going to nap now.
I totally agree with you, pain of an acne can only be understood by the person who suffers from it. The scars leave a permanent mark on your face :(
ReplyDeleteexactly! i tend to get really annoyed with people who don't even have acne/pimples, complain when they get one out of the blue. >:(
